Division IV East District
Hiland pounded Monroe Central 70-32. Sammy Detweiler scored 19, Carson Habeger had 10, Nick Wigton had 15, and Connor Beachy had 11. Hiland will play Caldwell in the district semis at Cambridge.
Strasburg stunned the Rosecrans at Rogge gymnasium 68-52. Another early loss in the tournament for Coach Rock and the Rosecrans. Jake Ryan poured in 23 points while Gage Moore went for 18. Strasburg will play top seed River at Union Local.
Division III East District
Garaway routed Coshocton after an eventful first half 69-36. Brady Roden had 16, Logan Yoder had 13 , and Alexander Roden had 11. Garaway will play Harrison Central at Claymont.
Malvern took care of business against Ridgewood 77-53. Rodney Smith had 23 points and 10 boards, Mitchell Minor had 21 points to go along with 8 boards, and J’allen Barrino had 16 points. Malvern moves onto the District semis against West Muskingum at Indian Valley.
Sandy Valley lost to West Muskingum 54-49. Nick Petro went for 18 points and 11 rebounds, Jordan Wigfield had 12 points, and Lukas Gilland had 11 points.
